Distinguished Lecturers The Distinguished Lecturer Program is an important feature of UFFC-S. At the September meeting of AdCom, the number of Distinguished Lecturers was increased, with overlapping terms, by one. The UFFC-S Distinguished Lecturers are: Roman Maev (University of Windsor, Canada)
Susan Trolier-McKinstry (Pennsylvania State University, USA)
Patrizia Tavella (Istituto Nazionale Ricerca Metrologica INRIM, Italy)
The Distinguished Lecturer is selected not only because of personal stature and contribution to a field, but also because of broad knowledge of the field. Each lecturer presents lectures all over the world at institutions and places of interest to her/him and her/his research. Groups desiring to invite a lecturer should either contact the lecturer directly (maev@uwindsor.ca, STMcKinstry@psu.edu and, tavella@inrim.it respectively) or write to Bernhard Tittmann, Vice-Chair of the Awards Committee.
