2005 IEEE Honors Ceremony


James L. FlanaganOn Saturday, 18 June 2005, the IEEE Honors Ceremony was held at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia.

The IEEE Medal of Honor, the most prestigious IEEE award, was presented to James L. Flanagan, Vice President of Research, Rutgers University, Piscataway, NJ

"For sustained leadership and outstanding contributions in speech technology."

In addition, IEEE honored sixteen other individuals and two corporations at the event for their contributions to electronic and information technologies and sciences. Click here to view streaming video of the 2005 IEEE Honors Ceremony.
