2006 IEEE Honors Ceremony

The IEEE's annual Honors Ceremony will be held on Saturday, 24 June 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, Minneapolis, Minnesota. The IEEE Board of Directors will be honoring these outstanding recipients at its event.

MEDAL OF HONOR

The IEEE Medal of Honor, the most prestigious IEEE award, will be presented to Dr. James D. Meindl - Director and Petit Chair Professor of Microelectronics, Microelectronics Research Center, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA.

The IEEE will also be honoring the other Institute-level Medals and Recognition Award recipients at the event for their contributions to electro and information technologies and sciences:
