IEEE Corporate Innovation Recognition Guidelines


Description of Recognition

For outstanding and exemplary contributions by an industrial entity, governmental or academic organization or other corporate body, achieved through the medium of innovative products, product lines, systems or concepts which have resulted in major advancement of the of the arts and sciences of electrotechnology.

The introduction of new concept resulting in the development of new product, system or service which can be characterized as having moved the state of significantly forward by the innovative aspects of the idea;

The creation a new industry or the creation of a product or a concept which, when implemented, has served to revolutionize the character of an existing industry, field of endeavor or served to exert fundamental changes in the mode of living;

A development which events now characterize as pioneering for its time, serving over the years to precipitate or stimulate great changes in the industry or the general culture; or

Innovative application of engineering and research to service or production industries affording a highly recognized means of counteracting obsolescence and establishing a new lease on the future.

Eligibility: No restrictions as to geographical location.

Form of Recognition Certificate and crystal sculpture.

Nomination deadline: 1 July
