(Criteria considered by the Evaluation Committee shall include: excellence in teaching graduate students; curriculum development with the inclusion of current research and development knowledge that reflects the state of the art in courses; authorship of course materials for graduate students; and involvement with and direction of students to prepare them for effective careers inengineering and the sciences.) The quality of the nomination is also considered. (Do not exceed 1200 words.)
