This is
the promo of the Conference Membership
Recruitment (CMR) Program, one of
IEEE’s most successful Membership Development
(MD) efforts done in conjunction with the IEEE
Marketing Department.
The
program runs from 1 September 2007 through 15
August 2008 and its goal is to recruit IEEE
members at conferences. Each full-dues paying
higher grade IEEE membership applicant is
given a free membership to one of IEEE's 38
Technical Societies .
Guidelines to participate in CMR
- To have your conference(s) considered
for this program, contact Membership
Development and provide the dates of your
conferences. Your proposal must be
approved by Membership Development prior to the
conference and a tracking code will be
assigned.

Plan to recruit a minimum of 25 new
members and set up a highly visible,
staffed membership
recruitment desk. Order online to
request supplies for your membership table.
- All dues must be paid at the time of
registration and the CMR tracking code
that was assigned must be on all application
forms submitted to IEEE.
